Hidden under centuries of dust,
stories of a civilization untold,
to venture to see the shine,
who would be as bold?
A paltry glance is all they summon,
Carved with tales eons old,
for all they see is something obsolete
something cold.
.
Novelty which no one unearths,
they sing with bliss clear and loud.
Love and passion flow unheard,
all their vastness pigeonholed.
All expansive and accepting,
they wait patiently to be explored
The world takes them for granted,
Oh! how humanity has been fooled!
